A Brief History Of Our Church
Our church was formed in Warners Bay in 1978 by a group of Christian believers who were concerned to return to the teachings of the early Baptists.
Adopting the 1689 Confession of Faith as it's Statement of Faith, the church has deliberately identified itself with the Protestant Reformation and hence the word "Reformed" is included in the name.
As a church we are committed to the historic Christianity of the Bible as outlined in all the great Confessions of Faith (e.g The Thirty-nine Articles and the Westminster Confession of Faith).
The church met in rented premises for the first 16 years until it purchased the current property in Mount Hutton in 1994.
The founding pastor was Pastor Fred Siebert. He was joined by Pastor Ken Callan in 1991. Pastor Siebert retired in January 2009.
Our meetings focus strongly on the teaching of God's word and on an approach to corporate worship which takes seriously God's instructions for His people.
It was decided on 12 June 2022 that all meetings of the church would be suspended pending a final decision about the future of the church.
